Manchester, NH January 5, 2011 - Hitachi Cable Manchester is pleased to announce that it is the first cable manufacturer in the world to receive TIA 568-C.2 verification from Underwriters Laboratories.
The verification, which covers all Category 5e, 6 and 6A copper communications cables, demonstrates that the cables meet the performance requirements of the TIA standard. End users installing cables with UL verification can be confident their infrastructure will support any and all applications intended for that category of cable. The 568-C family of standards is replacing the 568-B family, which was released in 2001, as well as all subsequent addenda.
HCM, located in Manchester, NH manufactures a complete line of copper and fiber optic cables for the communication industry.
