Fiber Extrusion Operator

Fiber Extrusion Operator - 3:00pm - 11:00pm shift.

Responsibilities include:

As part of the continuous operations process, will perform set-ups, operation and changeovers on fiber and rounds extrusion lines in the manufacture of insulated cable products.
Responsible to meet production standards in accordance with ISO procedures, following the process and manufacturing specifications.
Troubleshoot manufacturing process - meet production schedules.
Practices 5S principles

Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Fiber Optic Extrusion operator in the wire and cable industry.
Good reading, writing and verbal communication and comprehension skills to understand manufacturing specifications, instructions and procedures in English.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, frequent bending, stooping, reaching and moving materials within manufacturing.
Required to talk, hear and demonstrate manual hand and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination to handle machinery, materials, tools and parts.
Must be able to lift, carry, maneuver, and move a minimum of 60 lbs.

Individual must enjoy working independently, and be able to meet all deadlines with exemplary accuracy. Candidates should live within commuting distance of our facility.
