Fiber Extrusion Operator
Fiber Extrusion Operator - 3:00pm - 11:00pm shift.
Responsibilities include:
- As part of the continuous operations process, will perform set-ups, operation and changeovers on fiber and rounds extrusion lines in the manufacture of insulated cable products.
- Responsible to meet production standards in accordance with ISO procedures, following the process and manufacturing specifications.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing process - meet production schedules.
- Practices 5S principles
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Fiber Optic Extrusion operator in the wire and cable industry.
- Good reading, writing and verbal communication and comprehension skills to understand manufacturing specifications, instructions and procedures in English.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, frequent bending, stooping, reaching and moving materials within manufacturing.
- Required to talk, hear and demonstrate manual hand and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination to handle machinery, materials, tools and parts.
- Must be able to lift, carry, maneuver, and move a minimum of 60 lbs.
Individual must enjoy working independently, and be able to meet all deadlines with exemplary accuracy. Candidates should live within commuting distance of our facility.
