Payroll/Accounts Payable Supervisor

Looking for a motivated, detail oriented individual to be responsible for weekly payroll and accounts payable processing.

Responsibilities include:

Daily maintenance of in-house payroll system
Weekly processing of payroll for 170 employees
Perform monthly closing tasks associated with payroll
Daily matching and reconciling of product, and expense payables
Weekly payable check runs
Prepare journal entries for posting in accordance with month-end close deadlines
Reconcile corporate account statements and process expense reports
Work with purchasing and vendors to resolve open items
Assist Accounting Manager with monthly/ year end closings

Requirements:

Associates degree in Accounting, Bachelors degree desirable
2-4 years payroll and accounts payable experience
Experience with Excel, Word
Experience with AS400, Kronos and Optimum Solutions software a plus
Strong organization and communications skills
Ability to meet deadlines and adapt in a changing work environment is essential
